We tried to raise goats for a few months. It was our first go at it and I don't think we really researched it enough nor were we prepared for them. They are fun to play with and watch but for us they were always sick. anyone else experience this? we ended up letting ours go to another family that was familiar with goats. in the future we will try again and hopefully be more successful.

Sounds like you had a rough first try. Don't let it get you down. I've learned from owning goats most of my life and I'd this this about most animals - you will always have ups and downs. Just do your best to keep them fed, dewormed, and their area clean. Goats tend to get into things they don't need to get into but if you more research and plan ahead you can succeed!
