Spent some time researching this breed and was really intrigued by their uniqueness... These are true pasture pigs... eat grass and hay. When I found out the don’t root I was sold.
Got 2 registered boars and 2 registered gilts, all unrelated. Will be breeding these in April while using them to improve pastures and clear undergrowth in my woods.
Way better than goats since you don’t have to spend so much time trying to find em.

Just waiting till have are ready before we take the leap. |

I didn’t get babies... I figure I’ll get my experience with young ones soon enough... But so far I’m really impressed with them.
