So i think ill probably be asking all the questions there are about this stuff.
First, should I ask them all here? second, I will ask some in here.
How do i know what kind of chicken to get? What animal do i need to get next? how long should i wait till i get a new type of animal? i read you dont need to put eggs in the refridgerator, is this true?
I have more but will let you answer these first.
p.s. what is a soft shell egg?

The type of chicken you get first all depends on preference and what you want chickens for. If for meat, you can get meat birds aka cornish cross. For eggs, rhose island reds are good producers. If you just want a pretty flock, that will take some googleing to find out what you like. I'd suggest easter eggers and silver laced wyendottes. i'd stick to chickens for a while till you get the hang of it. The next animal depends again on your desired purpose. Rabbits are pretty easy and fun. I'd wait a few months and learn the ins and outs of chickens first correct, no refrigeration needed - unless washed, then they need to be refrigerated. softshell eggs just happen. usually a sign of calcium defeciency. add crushed shell to their food and it will help. I hope i helped you out!!
